The Buckeye state, with its over-the-counter tags, legal baiting, and high-quality genetics, is one of the best-valued whitetail hunts out there and it is often overlooked.
This outfitter has secured 3000+ acres of well-managed whitetail ground about an hour south of Akron, OH. The property consists of mature hardwoods, dense thickets, and agricultural fields, perfect for that chance at a mature Midwest whitetail buck. With managing the herd as a top focus, the goal for each hunter is to target a mature trophy buck. Mature bucks on this property will be in the 140+ class with potential for bigger. All hunts are conducted from quality strategically placed ladder stands, box blinds, or ground blinds. If you’re fortunate enough to harvest a buck, you’re invited to take part in the management of the doe herd.
When you are not hunting you will be back at the comfortable, 4,800 square foot lake house enjoying all the amenities of home. A typical day will begin with a light breakfast prior to being taken to a stand in a spacious side by side. Hunters may sit all day (with a bagged lunch) or choose to be picked up at a certain time. Dinner will be prepared and brought to the house and served hot every evening.
