Rifle – October (4 day hunt)
Archery – September (5 day hunt)
This hunt takes place in the southwest corner of Wyoming. The 100,000+ acre private ranch borders the Utah state line and holds an abundant population of elk, mule deer, antelope, and Shiras moose. WTA TAGS has worked with this outfitter for several years with great success. You can expect to encounter several dozen elk each day, many being quality bulls. Hunter success is typically 90% or better on 5×5 and 6×6 bulls scoring in the 270-300″ class. Polaris Rangers are used to access the hunting grounds. The terrain varies from sage brush bottoms to mountain tops ranging in elevation from 7,500-10,000 ft. A brand new three-story log lodge will be your home during the course of this hunt. The lodge is nothing short of deluxe. It features eleven spacious bedrooms, bathrooms with large walk-in showers, three separate living rooms, nice dining area, and two large flat-screen TV’s. Delicious meals are prepared daily. Laundry service is also available. The lodge sits at 8,200 ft. in elevation. A stocked trout pond is right out the backdoor of the lodge. Non-hunters will be more than comfortable here. With changes to the draw odds for the General elk tag in Wyoming, WTA TAGS recommends applying for a preference point one year prior to your hunt and then applying for the Special permit the year you’ll be going. This strategy in applying will greatly lessen the risk of not drawing the permit – in fact, this should lock your drawing odds at 100%.
