If you’re looking for a no-frills, boots-on-the-ground, real elk hunt—this is it. This management bull elk hunt takes place on a fantastic private ranch in Wyoming’s Laramie Mountain Range, but the focus here is entirely different: herd management.
These hunts are designed to better manage the herd on the ranch and are priced accordingly. They are not aimed at harvesting high-scoring trophy bulls. That means you might be targeting an older bull past his prime, a raghorn, or a bull with an offset pedicle. Legal bulls must be five points or less on at least one side. It’s all about helping the herd—and having a hell of a good time doing it.
You’ll glass elk and get the same high-quality guiding and ranch experience, at a fraction of the price, but this isn’t the hunt for someone trying to “score big on a budget.” It’s the hunt for someone who values the experience, loves elk meat, the conservation story, and the opportunity to be part of managing a world-class elk herd.
This hunt is limited and selectively offered. You can draw this tag the first time you apply/zero points on the Special priced Wyoming elk tag. For those with preference points this tag can be drawn on the Regular priced Wyoming elk tag with as little as two preference points. This is a hotel based hunt with no meal or lodging included.
