October-November
You will not believe the sheer volume of whitetail deer and wildlife encountered on this hunt. The outfitter leases several dozen parcels specifically managed for whitetail and also owns portions of the ground they hunt, allowing for exceptional control and long-term management of the resource. Many of these properties have been under their management for 12+ years, and it is not uncommon to see 50+ deer from a single stand location.
Extensive trail camera networks are utilized throughout the season, while irrigated crops and food plots help attract and hold wildlife on the properties. Average harvested bucks typically range from 120–140”, with top-end deer exceeding 180”. Historically, hunters have enjoyed a 100% opportunity rate.
While all-day sits are certainly an option during the rut, the outfitter typically recommends hunting mornings and evenings, with a midday break to return to the comfortable, centrally located lodge to relax and recharge. Early season will primarily be evening hunts. Wyoming weather can always be unpredictable, but conditions are typically mild, making stand time far more enjoyable than many late-season hunts. Hunters will utilize a mix of Double Bull ground blinds, ladder stands, box blinds, and tree stands depending on conditions and property setup.
Lodging is another major highlight. Guests stay in a beautiful, newly constructed lodge featuring eight private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. A spacious common area and dining room provide the perfect setting to unwind after the hunt. The meals will be prepared by an on-site Chef and sure to not dissapoint. Just behind the lodge, guests can also enjoy fishing on a private lake.
