Whether you are looking for a reason to go to Hawaii or maybe you already have a trip planned and want to get out for some hunting while you are there, WTA has you covered. Working with one of the best outfitters in the islands we are happy to be offering this one day, one-bird hunt, for Rio Grande turkeys on the Big Island. Our outfitter operates on 20,000 acres of private land that is covered in turkeys. These high success hunts are incredible and with a seasoned outfitter, and top shelf guides, you are sure to have a fantastic hunt. all hunts add 4.167% HI Sales Tax
$105 Hunting License
All hunters are required to have a hunters education card or an exemption letter if they recieved a hunters education prior to July 1st, 1990
Lodging, shipping trophies/meat, taxidermy, additional trophies and tips.
Arrive on the Big Island Hawaii where you will rent a vehicle and travel to the property. Your outfitter will supply you with directions
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
