This hunt for a hard gobbling Eastern turkey is three full days of hunting with great meals and comfortable lodging included.
Hunting styles include both ambush/blind and run-and-gun with thousands of private acres at your disposal. Success rates with this outfitter have been 100% to date for WTA clients.
The Iowa turkey tag application deadline is late January, so hunts must be booked and tags applied for before the deadline. WTA TAGS will apply on your behalf making the process seamless. Bookings fill up fast, so book your spot early.
The lodge has all the comforts of home: two bathrooms, a laundry room, several bedrooms, gear room, large living room with a TV, a dining room and a fully-stocked kitchen. This is a great family-run operation.

Fly to Des Moines, Iowa, rent a car and drive to the lodge 1.5 hour south (near Brooks, IA). Directions will be provided by outfitter.
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
