Hunt Trophy Brown Bears on Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula

Embark on the ultimate springtime adventure with one of the most respected outfitters in international hunting. Deep in the remote wilderness of Eastern Russia, our fully guided 1×1 Kamchatka Brown Bear hunts offer a truly unmatched experience for serious hunters in pursuit of world-class trophies.

Each morning, you and your seasoned guide will head out by snow machine and sled, tracking bears as they emerge from their winter dens. During this season, these massive bruins are actively on the move—covering up to 20 miles a day in search of early spring food sources—creating excellent conditions for locating fresh tracks and quality bears.

Once a trophy bear is located, you’ll begin an exhilarating spot-and-stalk pursuit with the assistance of snow machines and sleds. These hunts are both mentally and physically demanding, requiring preparedness for cold temperatures, deep snow, and rugged terrain. But for those ready for the challenge, the rewards are extraordinary. Shot opportunities are consistently high, with most bears ranging from 8 to over 9 feet squared, and the occasional true giant pushing the 10-foot mark.

The Kamchatka Brown Bear rivals its Alaskan coastal cousin in both size and behavior. The landscape mirrors Alaska’s rugged majesty as well—offering miles of untouched tundra, mountain drainages, rivers, and dense forests. This is a hunt that delivers not only world-class trophies but also an unforgettable adventure in one of the most remote regions on Earth.

Setting this hunt apart is the comfort and hospitality offered at base camp. Guests stay in warm, cabin-based accommodations—either in the main lodge or in the newly constructed deluxe cabins, available in both single and double occupancy. After a long day in the field, enjoy hearty, home-cooked meals, and unwind in the natural hot springs nearby—providing a unique and relaxing end to each day.

This is one of the only hunts in Kamchatka to offer this level of comfort, making it ideal for those who value a balance of rugged adventure and high-quality lodging.
