Spring Hunts – April – May
8-day hunt
Hunt trophy Brown Bears on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Eastern Russia with one of the most recognized outfitters in international hunting. These first class spring hunts are fully guided 1×1 with experienced guides by use of snow machine and sleds. You and your guide will set out each morning in search of fresh tracks. This time of the year the bears are exiting their dens and looking for food sources and will travel up to 20 miles per day. Once a set of tracks is discovered, and the trophy quality is determined, you will spot and stalk trophy bears via snow shoes or cross country skis. These hunts are physically demanding and hunters have to be prepared for cold harsh conditions. Over the past years, hunters have experienced very high shot opportunities on bears ranging from 8’ to over 9’ square with the occasional bear over 10 feet.
The Kamchatka Brown Bear is very similar to the Coastal Alaskan Brown Bear found in Alaska. The hunting terrain is also very similar to Alaska with endless miles of mountain drainages, tundra, rivers and streams. These hunts are extremely exciting and a great venue for someone looking to expand their international hunting horizons.
Deluxe first class lodge accommodations are provided during your stay. This is one of the only hunts on the Peninsula to offer this quality of lodging and food at one location with private rooms available. These 8 day hunts are the perfect experience to add to any international hunters bucket list. Availability is limited, so give a WTA consultant a call today.
