Hunts are conducted 1×1 and combine the excitement of spot-and-stalk with the effectiveness of hunting from a high rack. Each morning begins by glassing from key vantage points as deer move across the desert floor. As the day warms and activity slows, you’ll transition to the high rack to cover country and locate bucks. Afternoons are spent adapting to conditions, either back on foot for a stalk or continuing from the high rack. Coues Deer are hunted primarily by spot-and-stalk and over water sources, which has proven to be extremely successful in this rugged desert landscape.

Trophy quality in this area is second to none. Mule Deer average 170″–185″, and each season produces multiple bucks that break the 200″ mark. Coues Deer typically range from 95″–110″, with mature trophies over 125″ taken every year. This is truly one of the finest destinations in Mexico for both species.

After a long day in the field, hunters return to comfortable ranch houses equipped with electricity, running water, and hot showers. Meals are a highlight of the trip, with traditional Mexican cuisine prepared fresh daily and served family style. The hospitality matches the quality of the hunting.
