Possibly the best mountain hunting experience to be had for the money, mid-Asian ibex in Kyrgyzstan is a true adventure for a great price. You will hunt the rugged and beautiful mountains of Central Asia where ibex populations are high, and trophy quality is the best in the world. These are the largest ibex in the world with stout bodies and horns ranging from 40-50″+.
Accommodation is in comfortable base camps, with good cooking, but hunters should be ready to move and fly camp when necessary. Horses are used extensively to cover the rugged landscape, and hunters need to be in good physical condition.Â
Hunting elevations will be from 9000-13,500 feet, but the horses cover most of the ground. This truly is a hunt not to be missed for mountain enthusiasts, and Kyrgyzstan is a beautiful, safe and friendly country.

Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
