September – Grouse & Huns
October – November: Grouse, Huns and Pheasant
This combination upland bird hunt takes place on 1,000,000 + acres of private reservation grounds in North Central Montana. Our long-time outfitter has been successfully guiding customers for Pheasant, Sharptail Grouse, and Hungarian Partridge for over 24 years. The hunting lands are vast open prairies which is the perfect recipe of habitat for an abundant wild bird population. Hunters typically have numerous opportunities at the bag limits of most species.
All hunts are fully guided by professional guides and well-trained pointing dogs are provided. Hunting upland birds behind pointing dogs on the prairie is an experience that all wing shooters much experience. You can expect to spend a great deal of time walking or if you prefer the outfitter offers UTV as the in-field transportation method during your hunt.
Ranch house accommodations with single or double occupancy rooms and home-cooked meals are served daily. This small-scale hunting operation will welcome you as a stranger and send you off as a good friend with memories to last a lifetime. This is one of our highest repeat wingshooting destinations so early reservations are required.
