Hunt Cape buffalo in Mozambique. A true old-Africa hunt in a bush camp located far away from civilization. You will go back in time 50 years on this safari without the loss of modern conveniences. Add to that miles and miles of undisturbed wilderness teeming with trophy game, located in area 11 of the Marromeu Buffalo complex, which forms part of the delta of the mighty Zambezi River. It is approximately 2000 square kms and located in the central part of Mozambique near the coast. The concession includes vast forest areas holding large numbers of plains game especially the elusive Nyala, suni, red duiker and Chobe bushbuck along with its predators such as leopard and lion. The deluxe camp, however, is very modern and comfortable. En-suite facilities, hot showers, electricity and delicious local meals. The area has excellent buffalo, and they consistently run 100% on buffalo in the 37″- 41″ class with some exceptionally wide heads taken. The area hunted has both dry and wet conditions. To make hunting easier in wet areas, an Argo amphibious vehicle and the new Hugglands BV 206 is used to get you closer to one of the numerous buffalo herds feeding in the swamp. The final stalk on foot will bring you closer than you ever imagined to these bad-attitude beasts. This is not a hunt for everybody, but if you’re looking for an old-time safari in a 1,000-square-mile concession, this is for you.
