March – October
This family-run safari takes place on one of the largest private ranches in Southern Namibia. Located approximately 5 hrs drive from the capital city, Windhoek, it encompasses over 200,000 acres of some of the most diversified terrain in this region. The ranch is situated between the famed Namib desert to the west and the Kalahari desert to the east of its border. The hunting area is comprised of grassy savannah, rocky dunes, and dense shrubbery, which is home to an abundance of plains game such as springbuck, southern greater kudu, golden gemsbuck, Kalahari gemsbuck, zebra, steenbuck and duiker, and many more.
All hunting is done by spot and stalk with your professional hunter as your guide. Modern safari-style hunting vehicles are used to access the hunt area. This ranch is enormous; you may hunt in a different area daily. The ranch is also very conducive to archery hunters, and they have constructed new stone blinds over water areas.
Accommodations are new stone chalets set up for double or single occupancy with one of the most spectacular views of the African landscape. Traditional Namibian cuisine is cooked over an open fire in the boma daily. You and your friends can try out the wild game harvested; it’s simply amazing, and you will not go home hungry.
This safari is a must for your bucket list if you have never been to Namibia. The experience is like no other. This family-run operation will give you memories, trophies, and stories to last a lifetime.
