This action-packed turkey hunt takes place in Northwestern NE along the South Dakota state line in the heart of some of the best turkey hunting in the state. This long-time outfitter has been offering high-success Merriam turkey hunts for over a decade. Access to over 100K acres of private parcels along the Niobrara River and the Pine Ridge of western NE, his hunting grounds are some of the best in the state. All hunts are guided by experienced guides with a passion for turkey hunting. This region of the state has a very good population of turkeys and it is not uncommon for hunters to see several hundred birds per day. Accommodations are a comfortable ranch house in Gordon NE (a very small rural community). Shot opportunities over the years have been nearly 100%.

Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
