Newfoundland and Labrador is home to thousands of rare woodland caribou and the only non-resident huntable woodland caribou herds in the world. If you’re looking to complete your North American Super Slam this is a great opportunity.
This is a first class operation through and through with a magnificent lodge, experienced guides and delicious traditional island cuisine all included. Hunts are conducted by spot and stalk hunting in the vast northern wilderness accessible by pickup trucks along the many trials and backroads. Argo’s and ATV’s are used to assist in the retrieval process to make the hunt easier.

Transportation
Fly to Deer Lake NL or St. Anthony Airport, and overnight. The following morning you will be met by outfitter and transferred to lodge or cabin.
Sample itinerary:
Day 1: Fly to Deer Lake, NL or St Anthony and overnight.
Day 2: Outfitter will meet and transfer you to the lodge or cabin.
Day 3-8: Hunt
Day 9: Depart for your return trip home.
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
