May – June
Hunt Monster Spring Black Bear on Island of Newfoundland. This seasoned outfitter has been hosting hunters for over 17 years and has some of the best black bear territories in the province. Spring hunts are conducted over baited areas from remote cabins accessed only by float plane. Hunters have experienced over high shot opportunities on trophy class bears and a few that have weighed in over 500 lbs with the average bear weighing 250 – 300 lbs. All hunts are fully guided and hunters will hunt from comfortable ground blinds or tree stands. Newfoundlands bear population over the past years has exploded due to lack of hunting pressure and remote areas. This is the ultimate hunt for anyone looking for a trophy class black bear in a wilderness setting. #101
