Northwest Colorado is home to some of the highest density of elk in the West and this property sits right in the middle of it all. This is a small, local outfit, that only takes a few hunters at a time to ensure a quality experience. Hunt bull elk in a unit where licenses are 100% draw or over-the-counter for non-residents! This is not a trophy hunt, but a good valued high success hunt for legal bulls and bucks where the focus in on the experience and bringing home some delicious venison. Lodging is a comfortable cabin and all meals are provided. While the terrain isn’t very physically demanding, you will need to be in good shape as this is a spot and stalk hunt. First and fourth rifle season is for elk where you have to apply for the license (100% draw) and second and third season is over-the-counter

Fly to Hayden, CO where the outfitter will pick you up and transfer you about one hour to camp.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
