Old Mexico has long been known for producing some of the largest Desert rams on the planet. This outfitter has access to some of the finest private concessions in the state of Sonora, Mexico. Success runs near extremely high on rams scoring 150 – 180″ B&C. This outfitter has been in the business for almost 20 years and reports are outstanding. During your hunt, you will enjoy traditional Mexican cuisine. Accommodations are tent camp or modern estancia, depending on hunting ranch. Each hunter will have 2 spotters and 1×1 guide service to assure that success is very high. This outfitter’s concessions are limited to 6 sheep per year and are usually sold out 2 years in advance. Fly to Hermosillo, Mexico via Phoenix, AZ, where you will be met by outfitter.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Hermosillo, Mexico where the outfitter will meet you and transfer you to camp.

Days 2-11: Desert sheep hunt.

Day 12: Begin your return trip home.

Hunt Style

Physical Level:

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.

Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.

Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.

Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
