Outpost fishing trips are among the most popular angling adventures in Canada. The fishing in the north country hasn’t changed much and still offers fast paced action for walleye and big northern pike. So much so, that a guide is rarely needed. If you’re a competent boatsman and angler, you’ll have the fishing experience to remember. Plus, it’s one of the best values in the angling world. These ten individual outposts are located between 150 – 250 miles northeast of Ft. Frances in northwest Ontario. Conveniently located just across the border from International Falls, Minnesota, this is the jumping off point for some incredible Canadian fishing. Nine of the outposts can comfortably sleep up to eight guests in three bedrooms and the tenth outpost can sleep up to 24 in three cabins, and is a great choice for a corporate or family retreat. Accessible only by float-plane (no roads), these outposts see little to no fishing pressure and are exclusive to your party.
