This family-owned and operated ranch and outfitter is situated in the elk-rich landscape of southeast Wyoming. Hunts are conducted on 13,000+ acres of private land primarily comprised of rolling sagebrush hills with areas of timber and scrub brush. From a physical perspective, this area is quite mild compared to most elk habitat across the West.
Hunts will be conducted utilizing a mixture of techniques including spot & stalk, calling, and sitting over water as well as known feeding areas. Opportunity rates at 280–310 bulls are extremely high regardless of weapon choice. Rifle hunters should expect shots to 400 yards and archers to 60 yards. Crossbows are legal to use during the Wyoming archery season.
Lodging consists of a five-bedroom, two-bathroom home on the ranch. Bulls can often be heard right from the patio! Due to the number of rooms and limited hunters, you can expect a private room with a shared bath. Home-cooked meals will be served daily at the outfitter’s home, just a short walk from the lodge.
