The Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming offer some of the best Shiras moose hunting in the United States. The quality of bulls is unmatched and population is strong in their limited quota areas 34 and 42. There are no wolves or grizzly bears to worry about in this area. This outfitter generally utilizes horses to find the big bulls in the back country and wilderness areas. Opportunities at Boone & Crocket quality animals are not uncommon. Their moose guides have years of experience in this area and with days and weeks of scouting for all the different species in these areas these outfitters have specific bulls on the hit list each year if you are lucky enough to draw the permit.
Accommodations are at a newly renovated lodge in 2016, and with private bedrooms and home cooked meals this is a top shelf destination for any hunter looking to harvest a trophy Shiras moose. Accommodations
Deer, antelope, turkey and private land elk hunting is conducted from their bunkhouse. You will experience all the comforts of home with, showers, beds and even satellite TV. Their bunkhouse can accommodate large groups so don’t hesitate to consider your friends. Moose hunts are tailored per hunt depending on the desires of the client as well as scouting results prior to the season.
Their mountain hunts are based out of wall tent camps or a log cabin in the Big Horn mountains. In thier tent camps hunters and fisherman sleep on cots in sleeping bags inside a canvas wall tent. These camps consist of multiple tents including a cook tent, toilet tent and sometimes a dining tent. Propane or wood burning stoves are used for heat and propane lanterns for light in the early mornings and after dark.

Fly to Gillette, WY, and rent a SUV for the drive to Camp. (Optional airport pick-up $250/group of 4 or less)

Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
