Sonora is the home of the Gould’s Turkey, the largest of the turkey species. Test your techniques and skills to call and hunt these beautiful birds!
Day 1: You will be met by the outfitter at the Hermosillo airport. We recommend flying through Phoenix, Arizona. This will give you the chance to drive the 5 ½ hours to camp on the same day. If your flight arrives later than midday, you will spend the night in Hermosillo (not included in your package).
Day 2–5: Hunt for the Gould’s turkeys. The hunt will end at noon of day 5 for the drive back from camp. Spend the night in Hermosillo (not included in your package). Note: Meals are not included in Hermosillo.
* If you are done with your hunt before day 5, you can return to Hermosillo. The hotel costs approximately $150 USD per night.
The weather this time of the year will be around 60° F during mornings and evenings, getting up to 90–100° F during the day. No rain should be expected.

This hunt is fully guided, one-on-one. You will be staying in one of our camps, in a ranch house. Beds, bathroom, shower will be available in camp. All meals and drinks will be included as well as all ground transportation.

Typically, NO cell phone service is available. Wifi is usually available.

Days 2–5:Turkey hunt.
Day 6: Transfer to the airport and start trip home.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
