Our Game Reserve is a 75,000 acres and is situated in the heart of the bushveld and close to the borders of the Kruger National park. Their exclusive private concession the Big-5: elephant, lion, leopard, Cape buffalo and rhino along with over 30-species of plains game roam free together. You never know what may lay around the next bend and regardless of the species you are hunting, you are sure to have excellent photo opportunities as well.
You will use traditional safari vehicles to access this 100+ square mile concession and targeting key biospheres for your target species. Using every trick in the book from glassing from high-points, checking water points and spot/stalk. This family operation strictly limits the number of hunters each season and focus on harvesting trophy class animals. Their long-term average on Southern Greater Kudu is 52″ with bigger heads taken every season. Bull gemsbuck average 38″ with female averaging a few inches more. For Cape buffalo hunters, you will hunt a concession bordering a famous reserve for free-range buffalo. The largest taken in the last couple years was 46″ with the average being 39″. Outfitter will fly you to the Cape buffalo concession via their helicopter.
A fully catered luxury camp provides the exclusive base accommodation for each party of hunters and their guests. The attractive thatched camp comprises 6 chalets with a bathroom in each room, comfortable dining area, bar and swimming pool. Best of all may be the stunning views of the Drakensberg mountain range and true African sunsets in a safe African environment for the whole family. Dinners are often enjoyed outside by the traditional Afrikaans braai and typically consist of beef, Karoo lamb, pork and wild venison.
The Escarpment is the prime tourist destination for foreign visitors to South Africa. This concession is within easy day trip of all the main attractions which include the Kruger National Park, the historic Gold Rush Town Pilgrims Rest, the Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and numerous breath-taking waterfalls and water features such as Mac Mac Falls and Pools and Bourke’s Luck Potholes.
This is an adventure you will be talking about for years and caters to hunters, observers and entire families.
