Archery Mule Deer ($4,500 per person)
Rifle Mule Deer ($5,500 per person)
The West River unit of South Dakota is an exceptional setting for hunting both mule deer and whitetails. The diverse landscape includes the famous Black Hills, vast sandhill prairie, tree claims and creek bottoms. You’ll see why folks want to come back year after year to hunt this magnificent state.
These hunts are conducted 2×1 as spot-and-stalk for mule deer, and whitetail hunts will be conducted from tree stands or ground blinds along stretches of creek bottom. One deer may be harvested. While most clients elect to hunt mule deer, some clients may prefer the less physical stand hunt for whitetail. This outfitter has secured thousands of acres of private ground leading to ample opportunities and high success to include nearly 100% shot opportunity on either species.
When you are not hunting, you can enjoy the amenities of home in a comfortable log farmhouse. Grab-and-go breakfast in the morning, simple bag lunch in the field and a good home-cooked dinner at the end the day will be the norm.
This hunt requires two preference points to draw a rifle tag (archery tags can be purchased over-the-counter). If you would like to get a portfolio started to build the points necessary to go on this awesome adventure, or if you would like to book an archery hunt call WTA TAGS today and talk with a Consultant.
