Mule Deer Hunt
Our South Dakota rifle mule deer hunting is nothing short of world class. We hunt highly-managed private property in the central portion of the state during the peak of the rut. Our clients consistently kill bucks scoring 160”-180”, and hunters should expect to see 15-30 bucks per day.
Mule deer tags must be applied for by late April. This drawing is generally a 50-70% draw for non-residents. If you miss the April deadline, then you may apply in the July draw. Non-resident hunters who apply in July have roughly a 20% chance of drawing a permit. These hunts are in high demand and it is recommended you schedule your hunt with us at least two years in advance.
This is an incredibly easy hunt physically; however, hunters should be prepared to shoot approximately 200-400 yards. Our primary method of hunting these properties is glassing from rolling hill vantage points, and placing stalks on the bucks that we decide are trophy quality.
Whitetail Hunt
On this outfitter’s rifle hunts, hunters should expect to see 10-20 bucks per day and have opportunities at 140”-180” class deer. We generally hunt the Whitetails in box stands and ground blinds with an occasional spot and stalk. The pictures speak for themselves. They harvest some exceptional deer every year. If you want an opportunity at Pope and Young whitetails then a South Dakota Archery Whitetail Hunting package is for you. Archery whitetail hunts on their South Dakota properties are truly unbelievable. Hunters should expect to see multiple Pope and Young bucks during their hunt. Most hunters will see multiple deer over 150 inches during a typical 6-day hunt. bucks are hunted out of ground blinds and tree stands in river bottom country loaded with Whitetails.
