Archery: September
Rifle: October & November
These hunts take place in the vast game rich region of southeast Montana. This outfitter has access to over 150,000 acres of private land that includes agricultural areas, river bottoms, rimrock and open sagebrush country.
Hunting tactics for the archery hunts will entail tree stands or ground blinds over water holes, trails between bedding and feeding areas, and spot-and-stalk among the rimrock cliffs.
The rifle hunts are conducted later in the season and hunting methods could vary based on weather conditions. Most days will be spent glassing agricultural areas and then intercepting deer as they move between feeding and bedding areas.
Over the past several years hunters (including archery hunters) have enjoyed nearly a 100% shooting opportunity on bucks scoring 150”-165”+. Furthermore, you will not be disappointed on the amount of deer seen during the course of your hunt making for a very enjoyable hunting vacation.
Antelope can be added onto a deer hunt hunt if a tag is successfully drawn for a very reasonable fee prior to the hunt. This addition only adds to the overall appeal of such a great trip.
Accommodations include a spacious ranch house with all the amenities of home, including Wi-Fi and cell phone service. Hearty, healthy breakfasts and suppers are served family style in the dining room each day with lunches typically eaten in the field.
