6 day hunts
November 4-9 (3 spots)
Looking to harvest one of North America’s largest Mule Deer? Southern Alberta is the place to go. This family-owned outfitter on the western side of the province has hosted trophy mule deer hunters for years in this area. With a combination of hundreds of square miles of grasslands, agriculture and a history of good genetics makes for growing the most impressive and sought-after deer by hunters everywhere.
Your hunt will be led by a seasoned guide on a 1×1 basis with access to private lands. You’ll spend your days glassing over thousands of acres looking for that special trophy.  Hunters access these areas by pickup trucks and most hunting takes place in the early morning and evenings. As this region is a draw area for Alberta residents, taking 7+ years to draw, hunting pressure is minimal.
This outfitter limits the number of deer hunters each year (typically hosting only 2 – 3 per week), increasing your likelihood of a successful experience. In recent years, shot opportunities have been very high for mature bucks measuring over 170 inches and top end bucks approaching the 200-inch mark.
In addition to your guided hunt, you will receive full accommodations with a comfortable stay at the outfitter’s family cabin, including daily home-cooked meals. Whether you’re a first-timer or a repeat client with this outfitter, you can bank on an unforgettable experience in one of the most spectacular hunting regions you could ask for.
WTA is thrilled to offer rare deer hunts like this one in Alberta. With this in mind, we recommend making reservations as early as possible.
