Northeastern Wyoming holds some of the best rifle whitetail deer hunting in country. Hunters can expect to see over 100 deer any given day, while getting to hunt prime rut dates with a rifle. With properties scattered along the Powder and Tongue Rivers in Wyoming as well as many different tributaries you will have access to over 40,000 acres of Cottonwood filled river bottoms leading up to Alfalfa and sage covered pastures, this is truly a whitetail paradise.

These bucks typically go between 120-140 inches with a few lucky hunters taking home much bigger deer. Hunting these bucks during the rut with a rifle definitely increases your chance of come home with a great trophy. Deer, antelope, turkey and private land elk hunting is conducted from their bunkhouse. You will experience all the comforts of home with, showers, beds and even satellite TV. Their bunkhouse can accommodate large groups so don’t hesitate to consider your friends.

Their mountain hunts are based out of wall tent camps or a log cabin in the Big Horn mountains. In their tent camps hunters and fisherman sleep on cots in sleeping bags inside a canvas wall tent. These camps consist of multiple tents including a cook tent, toilet tent and sometimes a dining tent. Propane or wood burning stoves are used for heat and propane lanterns for light in the early mornings and after dark.


Fly to Gillette, WY, and rent a car for the drive to Camp. (Optional airport pick-up $250/group of 4 or less)

Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Gillette, WY. Rent car and drive to camp.
Day 2-5: Hunt
Day 6: Depart camp for your flight home.

Hunt Style

Physical Level:

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.

Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.

Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.

Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
