Texas Panhandle Whitetails and Quail Combos

Hunt the Texas Panhandle with one of the most seasoned outfitters in the state. This outfitter of 40+ years has access to over 100,000+ acres of premier whitetail properties from western Oklahoma to the New Mexico state line. This region of Texas is known for having a healthy population of mature whitetails. Hunts offered are semi or fully guided depending on the hunter’s experience level. Most of the Whitetail hunting will take place from double bull blinds or ladder/tripod stands that are strategically placed overlooking agriculture fields, brushy draws, creek bottoms, and tree rows. Spot-and-stalk hunting while rattling and grunting can be a very exciting and effective method during the pre- and post-rut periods. Hunters can expect high shot opportunities on bucks typically ranging from 120–145″ with a number of bucks taken annually over 150″. In addition to whitetails, this hunt can be combined with some wild Texas quail hunting. In recent years, the bobwhite and blue quail population has exploded in this region of Texas and hunters are reporting good numbers. Hunting these explosive sporting birds makes a great combination hunt.
