October 6-day hunts
This is truly one of the finest Mountain Goat hunts in North America. Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies of southeastern British Columbia, this seasoned outfitter has been hosting hunters from all over the world for decades. Their hunting territory is vast and encompasses over 1000 square miles of pristine rivers, streams, drainages, heavily timbered draws, and snowcapped mountain peaks. This region of BC is said to have the highest density of mountain goats in North America, estimated at 4.6 goats per square kilometer and the trophy quality is exceptional.
The guide territory is located in the Elk Valley region of SE British Columbia, with Banff to the north, and Glacier National Park, Montana to the south. The territory borders the continental divide, with no hunting, permitted on the Alberta side of the border and no other adjoining guide territories bordering. Approximately half the area is a provincial park, with the remainder designated as an access management area. This is truly a remarkable wilderness experience.
Accommodations are spike tented camps or rustic cabins depending on the hunt location. All hunts are fully guided 1×1 by experienced guides. These horseback wilderness hunts are simply amazing and provide hunters the chance to get into the remote areas of the hunt area. Over the years, this hunt has produced high shot opportunities on mature billies. Give us a call today, hunts are limited annually.
