Late August – Early October
Northwestern British Columbia is home to the world-record mountain goat and the genetics throughout this area are as good as it gets. To keep the quality high, a limited number of billies are harvested each season in this concession. These 9-day hunts occur in late August and early September and then again in late September and early October. You’ll be flown into a remote lake where you and your guide will backpack to the spike camp location. Glassing and locating a mature billy is the name of the game, and once that trophy is located, a strategic stalk is planned. You’ll be hunting in some aggressive terrain, but the reward could be a record-class billy.
