Southeastern Kansas has become well known for its exceptional trophy whitetail opportunities, and this outfitter operates in prime habitat that consistently produces impressive bucks. With a strong focus on wildlife management, abundant food sources, and carefully maintained properties, hunters have the chance to pursue mature whitetails with outstanding antler development. The combination of fertile farmland, timbered creek bottoms, and well-planned stand locations creates ideal conditions for both early-season encounters and late-season success, making it a destination serious deer hunters return to year after year.

Nestled in the rolling countryside of southeastern Kansas, this well-known hunting outfitter offers an experience that blends rugged outdoor adventure with genuine comfort. Guests are welcomed into a beautifully maintained lodge that feels more like a cozy country retreat than a typical hunting camp. From the moment you step inside, you notice the thoughtful details—warm wood finishes, comfortable leather seating, and tasteful rustic décor that reflects the surrounding landscape. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and provide peaceful views of the property, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a long day outdoors.

The lodge truly stands out for its hospitality and amenities. Spacious bedrooms, spotless bathrooms, and inviting common areas make it easy for groups to unwind together. Hearty, home-cooked meals are often served around a large dining table where stories from the day’s adventures are shared. Whether guests are enjoying coffee by the fireplace in the early morning or relaxing in the evening with friends, the setting strikes the perfect balance between refined comfort and authentic Kansas charm.

Choose from the September muzzleloader, November archery, or December rifle seasons. Early booking is essential, as obtaining a Kansas whitetail tag requires meeting the late April draw deadline. First-time applicants will have a better than 50% chance of drawing. If unsuccessful in the draw booked, clients will have the option for a refund or rolling to the following year, where your drawing odds will then be 100%. WTA TAGS will assist with the Kansas application process.
