This 6,500-acre ranch in central Utah is a prime haven for mule deer. Exclusively managed for wildlife conservation, the ranch benefits from ongoing, large-scale water and habitat improvements that continue to enhance its carrying capacity. With extremely limited off-take, this ranch offers the opportunity to target mature, trophy-class bucks.
Hunts are conducted using guaranteed tags through Utah’s CWMU system, allowing rifle hunts anytime between September 1 and November 10. Early-season hunts will focus on bucks that have been pre-scouted and are consistent with their summer patterns. Be prepared for a physically demanding hunt, as hiking will be required. Late-season hunts coincide with the rut, offering the chance to see plenty of deer, with new bucks entering the ranch daily. Rut hunts can be tailored to suit individual fitness levels, with pickups or SXS vehicles handling the bulk of the travel, combined with short hikes. Regardless of when you hunt, you’ll only be targeting mature bucks, typically scoring between 160–175 inches, using classic spot-and-stalk techniques.
