October–November
Hunting water buffalo on horseback is a unique experience to be remembered for a lifetime. Water buffalo are very plentiful and these behemoths can weigh up to a ton, making this a very exciting up close and personal hunt. These beasts can be hunted year-round and a caliber of .375 or larger is recommended.
These sure-footed horses and comfortable Argentine saddles provide unbeatable access to this rough, wild terrain. You will ride out directly from the lodge and be in the game the entire day as you pick your way through the valleys and saddles, as you check in each draw for the perfect trophy. The professional guides and horsemen know this large private 30,000-acre ranch located south of Cordoba, Argentina by heart. They also have excellent 4-wheel drive vehicles for those who prefer modern horse-power transportation. However, due to the landscape, this may limit access to parts of the concession. This family-owned and run destination features huge mountains, deep valleys, amazing ravines, and wide winding rivers, making this a challenging hunt with magnificent scenery.
The pretty blackbuck antelope is always a client favorite to spot and stalk along with Mouflon sheep and fallow deer.
Two large rivers flow across the ranch and are filled with rainbow trout, fishing the innumerable pools that can be found in the rivers is a really unforgettable experience in itself.
Right in the heart of the hunting area is their world-class lodge that offers all the comforts of home including spacious, warm rooms, large living room with big cozy fireplace, quiet reading room, game room, equipped bar, and satellite TV. Three private rooms with magnificent views to enjoy are fully equipped with king-size beds, private bathrooms, Jacuzzi bathtubs, and daily maid service. Delicious meals made by their international chef feature wild game and traditional barbecue (Asado Argenitno). They can easily accommodate almost any special health and dietary need. Their wine cellar is full of the best Argentine red and white wines, here you will taste, enjoy, and hear an explanation of the kinds of grapes grown in Argentina. Non-hunters are welcome to enjoy outdoor activities including nature walks, treks, horseback riding, fly-fishing, wildlife viewing, photography, and ATV rides or simply relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
