Come hunt Merriams turkey in the shadows of the black hills of South Dakota. This scenic and game-rich area consists of prairie, broken and rolling hills, creek bottoms, and farm ground. Shotgun hunts will be conducted run and gun style; calling, utilizing decoys, and tail fanning techniques. Being in decent shape will only enhance your experience but you don’t need to be a marathon runner to have an incredible time in this type of terrain. Hunts are exciting and highly successful. Included in the hunt are lodging and meals, a guide, and infield transportation. Home-cooked meals will be served each evening with lunches in the field and breakfast before departing on each day’s hunt. The small camp atmosphere of 6 hunters per camp makes this a great opportunity to book the lodge exclusive for your group! There are limited spots available each year so call WTA today for availability!
