Ireland has is an underrated Woodcock hunting destination. With use of springs, or springers depending on the hunters ability this is a relatively high volume hunt for wild birds. Groups are from 1-3 hunters, and 20-60 is realistic for a days outing. This hunt takes place in the prime times of middle November to the end of January, on the western side of Ireland, only 20 minutes from Ireland West Airport Knock. This connects easily with many airports in Europe, otherwise there will be a 2 hours drive from Dublin.
The simple per day price covers all guiding, dog handling, game care, shotgun rental & ammo. Combine with other big game hunting, or just experience the countryside of Ireland behind the dogs, come experience this unique opportunity.

Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
