The Eastern Canadian moose of Newfoundland was introduced to Gander Bay in Central Newfoundland in 1878 and to Howley on the west coast in 1904 and the population are thriving. WTA works with the best outfitters in the province to offer our customers the widest variety of hunts available on the Island. Clients can choose from the road, accessed lodges, or remote helicopter fly-in camps, as well as the option of adding woodland caribou or black bear to their moose hunt. Success rates have been 90+% over the last several years with antler spreads ranging from 20″ to 50″. Accommodations are in comfortable lodges or cabins depending on hunt location and the native guides will work hard to ensure that you have a safe and successful hunt. If you are looking for a great value trophy moose hunt then you should consider Newfoundland and our preferred outfitter as your next adventure.
