Greenland is an outdoorsman’s paradise and one of the world’s last great wilderness destinations. Although it is the largest island on Earth, it is home to just over 50,000 residents. Visitors are treated to dramatic rocky coastlines, towering mountains, massive glaciers, crystal-clear rivers and streams, and rich marine ecosystems teeming with fish and wildlife.

This 8-day, 7-night adventure includes 6 full days of fishing and exploration along Greenland’s spectacular southwest coastline. Each day you’ll travel by boat through a maze of fjords and islands, fishing productive waters for hard-fighting Arctic Char in rivers and estuaries, and abundant Atlantic Cod in the saltwater. The fishing is action-packed and suitable for anglers of all experience levels, with opportunities for both light tackle and fly fishing depending on conditions.

When you’re not fishing, the trip offers outstanding sightseeing opportunities. Cruise past calving glaciers, photograph towering icebergs, explore remote shorelines, and enjoy the raw, untouched beauty of Greenland’s coastal wilderness. Wildlife sightings may include seals, seabirds, whales, and reindeer roaming the hillsides.

You’ll stay in a comfortable wilderness camp featuring modern double-occupancy cabins and a central lodge for meals and relaxing after long days on the water. The camp offers running water, shared bathrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, and even a sauna, all with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and sea. Hearty meals and warm hospitality make this an ideal base for both anglers and travelers who simply want to experience Greenland’s wild beauty.

This trip is perfect for fishermen, photographers, and adventure travelers, and non-fishing companions are welcome to enjoy boat tours, short hikes, and scenic cruising while others fish. For those looking to extend the adventure, many guests choose to combine this trip with travel through Iceland, enjoying hot springs, dramatic waterfalls, vibrant culture, and excellent dining before or after their Greenland stay.
