World Class Roe Deer Hunting in Romania

The Hunt:

In the rolling hills of Transylvania, roe deer hunting is a cherished tradition. As the sun rises, hunters set out, guided by experienced local guides. With patience and skill they stalk for their desired trophies, respecting both the animal and the land. As the day passes, hunters reflect on the beauty of the countryside. When evening falls, they return to their stay, fulfilled by the timeless tradition of roe deer hunting in Transylvania. The hunting club is managing 19 hunting area through the whole county. The hunting areas are located in the

hilly and mountainous area within the jurisdiction of Alba County, all covering an area of 220,683 hectares (38% of the county’s hunting territory), populated with red deer, roe deer, bear, wild boar, wolf, lynx, hare, pheasant, partridge, capercaillie, wild duck, quail, wild pigeon, woodcock, wood grouse, turtle dove, and others. The transfer from your stay to the hunt can take from 15 minute to 60 minutes, depending on the area of hunting. The hunt is done by 2 outings per day, early in the morning and late in the evening. You will be picked up at your accommodation by the local guides. The hunt can be done exclusively by talking and waiting methods, especially when big trophies are aimed to be achieved, or it can be done driving through the area covering a lot of surface and doing short stalking when you have spotted the right animal. When hunting for regular roe bucks, 2-3 roe bucks can be shot in 1 outing by 1 hunter.

With prior appointment, you can enjoy private sessions massage at your stay, private lunch or dinner inside the chateau, guided wine tours at Jidvei wine yard and cellar (lunch can be arranged), Alba Iulia Fortress and Hugo Cellar inside the fortress (collection of over 5000 bottles of wine from the former State Reserve), Ciumbrud wine yard, The Coronation Cathedral from Alba Iulia, Turda Salt Mine (the world’s most spectacular natural  underground formation, shaped by people). At your disposal, stands, at all the time, local guides, spa services, golf terrain, swimming pool, chefs, quality local wines and international wines.
