This remote fishing adventure takes place on the famed Mnyera and Ruhudji rivers of SW Tanzania. Here anglers can use conventional or fly-fish methods for these freshwater monsters. This region is known for producing tiger fish ranging from 10 lbs to over 25 lbs and is considered one of the top destinations on the planet for trophy tigerfish.
All anglers are fully guided 2×1 with an English-speaking guide out of modern 16′-18′ aluminum drift boats with 15 – 25 hp engines. These seasoned guides know these rivers well and will put you on structures that typically hold trophy fish. The rivers have received little to no fishing pressure for decades resulting in great numbers of trophy fish. The abundance of baitfish in the rivers is the major contributing factor to the unreal trophy quality.

Transportation
Day 1 Depart USA for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Day 2 day lost
Day 3 Arrive Dar es Salaam, transfer to Seacliff Hotel and overnight.
Day 4 Outfitter will meet, charter to the fishing area. Fish afternoon.
Sept 5-10 Fishing
Day 11 depart in the AM for Dar es Salaam with an afternoon flight home.

Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
