September
This hunt affords the rare opportunity for rifle hunters to pursuit bull elk during the rut. Hunts are conducted on approximately 50,000 acres of private property and a limited amount of neighboring public lands. The terrain here is quite mild by elk standards, primarily consisting of rolling hills with intermittent steeper drainages and pine ridges. Hunts on this property are quite limited and spaced out from September through October. These facts ensure each hunter has highest odds of success on quality bulls.
While afield you can expect to position yourself on high vantage points that allow you to glass the vast country. Once a suitable bull is located you and your guide will plan a stalk to get within range. Typical shot distances on this hunt will be 200-400 yards. Targets bulls will be big 5X5 and 6X6 bulls that range in score from 280-320.
Lodging will consist of a modern facility equipped with individual rooms and shared bathrooms. Home cooked meals will be served daily.
A General Elk Tag is required for this hunt. General tags are taking 3+ points to draw in the “special” and 5+ in the “regular” category for 2024 onward. If you have questions about this hunt, would like to book, or would like assistance applying for the Wyoming elk draw, please contact WTA TAGS at 800-755-TAGS (8247) or email us at TAGS@trophyadventures.com
