If you’re looking for a remote wilderness moose hunt during the rut look no further. This Canadian Moose hunt takes place in Northern Alberta’s back country. With access to over a 1000 square miles of wild dense forest, lakes, rivers and streams that are the perfect habitat for a healthy moose population. This outfitter grew up hunting and guiding this region for over 25 years. They will give you 100% effort and to increase your odds he offers a 10 day schedule with 8 hunting days. All hunts are conducted 1x1 with a professional guide, this makes this hunt one of the best valued moose hunts in Alberta. All hunts are conducted during the rut when spot, stalk and calling methods are very effective. Base camp consists of a wall tent camp and food is prepared daily. Hunters will have access to boats, ATV’s and UTV’s depending on hunt location. This area of Alberta has a good moose population and hunters have experienced high shot opportunities on mature bulls. Reservations are typically made well in advance as our outfitter limits these hunts to 6 per year. #520

WIN CARD (Wildlife Identification Number) 
WIN is required to purchase hunting licenses in Alberta. A WIN number is valid for five years from the date of purchase.  Please go to https://www.albertarelm.com/licensing.page. To complete the online application and purchase, renew or replace your WIN card. Upon submission, a WIN card with your WIN number on it will be mailed to you. Be sure you give yourself enough time to receive your card before you arrive for your hunt. 

Physical Requirement Level

Level 2 - These hunts are mostly conducted on private ranches. Species include mule deer, elk, antelope; additionally, some caribou and African plains game hunts. Moderate to light hiking each day in semi-mountainous terrain.
