Outfitter #044

Alberta Waterfowl Hunts That Will Keep You Coming Back

One of this outfitter’s main attractions is exclusive access to over 70 quarter sections of prime hunting land specifically designed to attract and hold the birds! Their waterfowl hunting area is situated in the picturesque Battle River Valley southeast of Edmonton, Alberta. Surrounded by farmland, sloughs and small lakes, this area boasts a variety of migratory waterfowl that enjoy the abundant food supply and shelter. They offer shoots over water as well as on land, utilizing the best techniques and equipment!

Their season begins in early September and ends in late October. Canadas, snows and white fronted geese are plentiful here during the fall migration. This area is also the main resting ground for a large variety of ducks. The type of hunting you will experience here is field hunting set up with Coffin Blinds. They have a full time scout watching for prime spots to make every day of your hunt full of lots of shooting. They use full body decoys, and a normal set-up has up to 10 sets of 12 decoys per set. You will hunt in the morning and the evening, which will be between your daily Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner in their beautiful lodge.

Their lodge has seven bedrooms, three full baths, a large game room to relax next to the fireplace, a TV, and a wonderful kitchen for the chef. You will enjoy all the comforts of home during your waterfowl hunt. Considerable planning and preparation has allowed them to provide their guests with a first class affordable adventure and we can personally vouch for this 100%
