Trip Details

This grizzly hunt takes place in a 160-square-mile private land guide concession and on neighboring state land in the Alaska Range. The bears in this area are recognized by Boone and Crockett as true interior grizzly bears, and their thick hides make for a great trophy.

The hunt will be conducted from a comfortable cabin with wood-burning stoves, cots, and home-cooked meals prepared every morning and evening. Sack lunches and snacks will be provided during the hunting day. ATVs and off-road vehicles will be utilized throughout the hunt. The day will be spent glassing from high vantage points, searching for a trophy boar to pursue. Then the stalk is on! Fall days in Alaska are long, with many hours behind the optics to find the grizzly bear.

Transportation
Fly to Anchorage and overnight. The following day, you will take a charter flight to camp.

WTA will donate 5% of the proceeds to the WTA Outdoor Guardian Fund. The Guardian Fund is a 501(c)3 which was established to ensure generations of wildlife and fishery resources through preservation, sustainable management, conservation, and education.

Sweepstakes Details

The winner will be announced within 30 days after the sweepstakes ends.

Winner’s Responsibility: Travel to Croatia, taxidermy and shipping, and gratuities.

Bonus Bucks cannot be applied to previously purchased trips, final balances, or state application fees. For example, no refunds will be given on previously paid for trips or TAGS portfolios.
