Trip Details

This high-success mountain lion hunt takes place in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of northern Utah. This young outfitter grew up hunting lions in these mountains and produced giant cats for his customers. Over the past few years, the mountain lion population has exploded across the state. Mature toms in this region can weigh up to 170 pounds.

All hunts are fully guided with two guides per hunter. Snowmobiles and trucks are used to access the hunt area. Your day will start early until a track is cut, then the hunt is on. Hunters can expect to hike up to several miles per day, and these hunts can be very physically demanding, so you need to be mentally and physically prepared. Over the years, this outfitter has produced a high success rate on mature toms.
