Alaska Trophy Moose- Draw Area
Or Call: 1-800-346-8747
This area of southeast Alaska is home to some of the finest moose genetics in the state. The area has a massive network of rivers, slew bottoms, lakes and salt grass flats - all of which are prime habitat for moose. Our outfitter has over 15 years of experience in the area and scouts extensively throughout the antler growing season. This hunt offers a true adventure, as you could find yourself traveling up one of the many rivers via jet boat, looking for a bull or landing a float plane to access a remote lake. The style of hunt here is largely dependent on where the best bulls are living, but calling will be the primary hunting method as hunts takes place during the peak of the rut. This unit’s fabulous rut dates make for a very unique opportunity in Alaskan moose hunting and are a major factor in this high quality experience. Hunters can expect to encounter some inclement weather throughout this 10-day hunt, so physical and especially mental toughness are a must. Success rates are expected to be at or near 100%.
