The hunting property is huge, one of the largest in New Zealand, and is loaded with red stag. This hunt includes a 400–450″ stag with the option to upgrade. Thanks to decades of carefully focused game management, the quality of the red stag on these properties is unbeatable. Few trophies are as eye-catching as a red stag with mass, great width, and strong scoring points. The hunting is by spot and stalk, accessing the properties in side-by-sides, glassing the hillsides in search of your trophy. There’s excellent cover and plenty of draws and gullies. This environment delivers all the excitement of hunting in raw, untamed terrain.

A brand-new, deluxe lodge provides an ideally relaxing and peaceful country environment. Surrounded by the beauty of the southern Alps, it’s the perfect spot to kick back and relax after a big day in the field. The first-class accommodations have all the comforts of home and much more. You’ll enjoy roaring fires, luxurious beds, modern facilities, and excellent New Zealand cuisine using locally-sourced produce. Tours can be organized as day trips or arranged before or after your hunt. Non-hunting companions can also use the lodge as a base to explore the many tourist activities offered in the region.

2026 Itinerary:

• April 3: Depart US headed for New Zealand
• April 4: Lose this day as you will be crossing the international date line
• April 5: Arrive in Auckland, New Zealand. Clear customs and transfer to the domestic airport. Fly to Queenstown, where you will be met by the outfitter and transferred to the lodge.
• April 6 – 8: Hunt
• April 9: Depart the lodge, board an international flight, and start the trip home. You recover 1 day when traveling home; arriving in the US on the same day you leave NZ.
