If you’re looking for a premier elk hunting experience, this trophy Alberta wilderness horseback hunt offers an exceptional opportunity to hunt Rocky Mountain bull elk during the peak rut. The hunt takes place in one of Alberta’s most remote and pristine regions, renowned for producing some of the province’s largest bull elk. This area is a true wilderness haven for elk hunting enthusiasts, covering over 2,800 square miles of rugged mountains and river drainages just north of Jasper National Park.

Guided by an outfitter with over 50 years of experience and a pioneering reputation in Alberta trophy hunting big game. Over the past two decades, this outfitter has consistently provided clients with high shot opportunities on bull elk ranging from 310″ to 350″+ inches.

The hunt is conducted on horseback, and all hunts are guided 1×1, ensuring personalized attention from experienced guides passionate about elk hunting. You’ll stay in modern wall tents at the base camp, but be prepared to spike out on the mountain for several days when a trophy bull is located. Given the exclusivity of this hunt, with only two to three hunts offered per year, early reservations are essential to secure your spot.
