Southern New Mexico offers some of the finest elk hunting in the West and this outfitter has been hosting hunters for many years with great success. These private properties are home to a very healthy population of elk with great genetics. The properties are lightly hunted, oftentimes taking only a few hunters at a time. Comfortable accommodations are part of the experience. The area is home to an abundance of elk, especially later in the season!
Private Ranch Elk Hunt in New Mexico

This ranch is comprised of approximately 12,000 acres in some of New Mexico’s finest elk country. Elk densities are astounding and the quality of bulls is exceptional. This hunt comes with a guaranteed landowner tag as well as lodging and all meals during the hunt. Choose an action-packed archery hunt during the rut or a later rifle hunt. Late Season Elk Hunt in New Mexico – Big Bulls!
Rifle: December 11–15
This hunt takes place on a huge private ranch that encompasses nearly 100,000 acres of native prairie, canyons in the famed Turkey Mountains. The veteran outfitter and guide team have been hunting here for many years with great success on mature 6×6 bulls in the 300″ class. All hunts are fully-guided 1×1 with excellent lodging and meals provided.
Colorado Ranching for Wildlife Elk Hunt
Rifle: November 4–6, November 9–11, November 13–15
Few places in the West compare to the game-rich lands of northwestern Colorado. The two properties that make up this 50,000 + acre ranch lie between 6,000–9,000 feet in elevation. Due to these large elevation changes, you find ecological diversity that can support large elk herds throughout the year. These late season hunts are the best time to observe literally hundreds of elk a day at times!
Utah Cow Elk Hunt – License Included
Rifle: October 9–11, November 27–29, December 4–6, December 11–13
